Joanne Joys book the "Wild Animal Trainer in America" mentions a William Philadelphia that worked for Carl Hagenbeck but there is no mention of a Harry Philadelphia anywhere. This is the first time I have heard of this man's name.

I believe Harry Philadelphia was elephant stable master on Circus krone for some time.
