Chiseler Dave,
I can appreciate your dilemma, but am happy you get a chance to live like a performer in the circus that you hold so dear. If you have been good this year Santa will make sure your water hose freezes, your septic tank ruptures and runs in the neighbor's driveway, and the building moron unplugs your electric at 3:00AM because the Shrine rental agreement doesn't commence until noon the next day. Have fun and May All Your Day's Be Circus Day's, Pal!!!!! Because I'm your my friend I am going to be gracious and nix the bear carving this year. I assume I shouldn't hold my breath waiting for the Lucchese alligator boot's either? Geez.......Jingle Bells, jingle bells.

  3. Dave,
I went the one time, to Jr's. induction, and that was only to get John Herriotts take on it. :) Right now the new act is in the "transition" period which is the most important time for an act. I had to forgo Christmas, and right now am pushing to possibly get away sometime in January. Will let you know, and would be pleased to with you. I assume Dickie will be near by, and we can send him for coffee's at Starbucks.

  6. Dave,
Your a hoot, Orr. LOL If you had told me what route you were taking I could have tipped you off to all the good All You Can Eat truck stop buffets. I think Pedro's "South of the Border" still has 2 hot dogs and a coke for 2.50 if you need something to tide you over for the home run push to Sarasota. You should be able to quite pedaling and coast for most of the way, once south of Ocala.

  7. Under Pedro's Hat is where I chained my house last night You are right on the hot dogs and Coke....still the same price. Traffic has been light so I haven't been in any heavy traffic. I will never forget one year I had my wife drive out of the way to "Visit South of Boarder" that was the first and last time...She was nice about it due to the fact she wanted to deadhead to the Beach. More later...

  8. Dave,
Oh course the beach is a necessity as they usually have shower's there. What is the Mrs. supposed to do, wash one foot at a time in the sink of your "Silver Eagle?"
