Previously, in 1848, it was the home base of one of the Raymond & Waring menageries. Other traveling shows may also have used the facilities there. I don't recall reading about the usual escaped animal stories during their presence. Presumably no one in Zanesville recalls these events today.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
