A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

I Wish Rain Wasn't So Important, Because We Could Sure Do Without It For A While In Mexico
I has rained for 3 months straight, with the exception of about 4 days. Afternoons are gorgeous Mexican afternoons for the most part, but at around 5:00 PM it starts raining again, and as a rule rains all night long until about 6:30AM. Just horrible, but I guess worse for the folks around the world who have received none, but none the less it has wreaked havoc on the box office. I would sure hate to be in Texas buying hay shipped from up North, that's for sure. Ah, gezz...... I just noticed that is my meat wheel barrow those nitwits are using keep the pump out of the water. Excuse me, while I return to the lot to whack some goofs!!!!!!!
I thought you suppised to work in the rain in this circus profession!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
ReplyDeleteNot me!!!! With the exception of driving to the winter dates in Detroit, the worst I ever had was no hot water in my dressing room shower.

You forgot to mention trying to get to the fairgrounds showers before the bigtop crew go to them.

Bob,
ReplyDeleteI never did a "community shower" after 1976, and if you have ever seen a shower after the 2nd day of 30 people using it, you would sure understand why.
