A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

For Bruce The Clown
Bruce, your comment came through three times, and in an effort to delete two of them, I deleted all three. Sorry. Took a relaxing day off from the stress of wild animal training, and was afforded the pleasure and honor of assisting the folks at Rancho Santa Fe in the moving and vaccinating of 300 calves yesterday, aided by a fine mount named Blanco, ending the day with the best Cecina I have ever eaten. I don't know how life can get any better than that.
Thank you, sir. It's nice to see art and functionality blended in real life . . . doesn't happen much anymore . . .
ReplyDeleteBruce,
ReplyDeleteArt that other people used I keep on the shelf to admire. Mine is made to be used, until the day comes, when it sits on someone's shelf to be admired. In this modern world of plastic crap, beauty and functionality have become truly a "thing of the past."
