A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

For Ian--Addendum to Vintage Miami Seaquarium In Case You Missed It
When I was a kid, I loved all those roadside animal attractions and little crappy private zoos. But then again, I loved every type of circus or carnival show, from the tackiest pit shows to the shabbiest little mud show. When I got older, there were still a few girl shows on carnivals - they were awesome in their tawdriness. Dang, why did people have to get so smart and sophisticated?!
Ian, I suggest sophisticated is the wrong term. Arrogant, is much more appropriate. Just because someone living in Private Idaho doesn't like it, they also think someone else shouldn't like it.
