A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Adios Kenya "Ken"
I posted pictures earlier of Ken, one of 4 Circo Aguilar giraffe's. A zoo in Mexico was in desperate need of a breeding bull so a deal was made to swap Ken for a freshly weaned calf(plus future considerations.) Ken left last week(pictured above) when the calf was delivered keeping the Aguilar herd at 4.
Wade- - Could you explain the linkage between two famous circus names, Atayde and Aguilar, on this show?
ReplyDeleteRichard,
ReplyDeleteI really don't know, but I will find out. I just assumed they were related some how as is the case almost 100% of the time in Mexico. Every time I ask "who's show is that," the replies rang from "my cousins," "my uncles," to "my wife's brother."
