A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Vintage Wild Animal Training
I have posted the two postcards below in the past, and came across the one at the top with a puma recently. They appear to be from a "menagerie show". Could they have been Bostock or Wombwell's operation's.
These are not Bostock and Wombwelles, but are from a French menagerie. I have originals of all these postcards and more. I cannot remember the name of the menagerie until I go home. I will look it up for you.

Jim,
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you shaming me to the world by pointing out you have originals, and I don't.
