A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Clyde Beatty--1952
Great footage of a master. The lion side passing to cut the other one's escape off is spectacular. When a male lion or tiger get's a hard on and set's out to destroy something they are pretty single minded in their pursuit. You need to have stood in the middle of a vendetta like this, a time or two, to really appreciate a Clyde Beatty. The big goof that falls off the high pedestal in his effort to get out of the fray is classic. Those sad sacks will get themselves or you hurt in their effort to find a safe place and get out of the line of fire.
I thought you might like to know that there is a new audiobook/radio theater ---> IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN, NEW STORIES FROM OLD TIME RADIO including Clyde Beatty http://goo.gl/JXeOF
