For Thomas--New Tigers

These are the four newest tigers, which were delivered 2 day's ago. I went to look at them 3 weeks ago at a zoo near Acapulco and they were purchased. They are litter mate brothers and their names are Thor, Zeus, Apollo, and Conan. They were very nervous, shy, and skittish when they arrived as they had been raised in an isolated cage behind the zoo hospital, and didn't have much exposure to people other then zoo staff. Three have calmed down nicely and are chuffing up a storm. One, Conan is still not with the program but I expect he will be in a week. Right now he rubs against the bar's when I approach but snarls/chuffs at the same time. :)

Note the "special" Mexican hitch attachment. It is called a mecate'. :)

We are taking delivery of a second "beast wagon" next week for the new tigers.

  2. Thomas,
I did receive your email. I thought I gave you that line up of tigers before? If not I will have to find a bigger picture of the same shot, in order to identify the tigers. One of the practice sessions, I will attempt to have one of the men take some pictures. I something happens and I get hurt because my men are goofing around being photographers instead of watching my back, it will be your fault. :)

  4. Wade,

The picture is in big on blog in one of the last 6 posts I think. You can see it there in big. No I haven't that line up yet.
And the pics of the white tigers were not enough I want pics of seeing them doing hind leg walks and corbettes !! :)
No Wade thanks a lot already for the information and pics you gave me ! Amazing to see that you are working back with tigers, maybe I have the chance now to see an act trained by the great Wade Burck.

  5. Thomas,
"Hind leg walks and corbettes!!!" They were just weaned a few weeks ago, and have just started eating meat. Geez, I bet you weren't worth a shit when you were a few months old, either.
You missed your chance to see me in 2007 at Evanville. I only went there as a favor to John Cuneo for 4 years. I got done with performing long, long ago. It was painful enough when I had to do it. Your only other option is go come to Mexico, and watch someone else perform with this act. I'll look for the picture and see if I can identify the tigers. That picture was from the NORTH DAKOTA HORIZON article when Ringling played North Dakota, and one of my cousin's had it on their facebook.

Yes, I think I have to come to Mexico and see some one else presenting the act ! Thanks Wade I have sent you some more pics to identify :) Back in business with my big Hawthorn document ! It is almost finished just some line ups and identifying some pics. I have also found some pics of you training pigs, two tigers called washington and sonia and you training miniature horses !
