A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

For Riz, the Turban Cowboy
Riz, I mis-posted a picture below inside the broodmare feeding station. It should have been hear with these pictures taken the day the Alabama State FFA officers asked to come to the farm, because they had heard about "the tiger guy" who could crack a whip to signal a stallion out of the pasture with his broodmare's and with hand signals direct him to the gate to stand, while the whip was cracked twice signaling the broodmare to shift to the opposite pasture and into the feeding station, where they each were sent to a designated spot to eat, assuring that each got the amount that was necessary for them, and nobody went to any body else's feed spot. The stallion stayed at the gate in the opposite pasture, until he was taken in with the other stallions for his morning and evening meal.
I have seven stallions here.
ReplyDeleteIts easy to impress people who cant train a horse!
Turb,
ReplyDeleteI had 11 here..... Spanish Riding School has more then either of us together. You again assume too much. These young people could train a horse. They had all put their own FFA horse's under saddle and shown them successfully.
