A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Wild Camel Herd in the Negev Desert, Israel--1964
Note the third camel on the right. It appears to have a pack/saddle harness on it's back. I have to wonder if there was a Bedouin on foot in 1964 cursing to Alla the day this no good, rotten animal went off the reservation and decided to strike out with his brethren?
Bedouins don't live on reservations.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
ReplyDeleteBut camels do when they live with Bedouins.
