53 year old elephant sunken temples diagnosed with TB died.

The only time I have seen younger elephants with sunken temples were sick and emaciated
Define "youngish" and "younger. While you are at it Radar, define "sick and emaciated."
Younger - under middle aged.
ReplyDeleteSick and emaciated - ie, underweight or diseased
Radar,
ReplyDeleteHow old is the elephant at the top? How old is the elephant at the bottom? Are/were either of them sick?
Wade
According to your information, the top is 53, the younger is 28. The top is sick, the bottom is not.
ReplyDeleteRadar,
ReplyDeleteYet they both have sunken temples. So it sunken temples an accurate indicator of sickness or age?
Wade
No it is not. I did not say it was. I said the ones I have seen were sick or older animals.
