A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.
Bob, They are both photos from the Longfellow formerly at St. Paul, Minn., later some of the animals going to the Como Park Zoo. It looks like the same guy who is a cross between Flattop of Dick Tracy fame with a Fearless Fosdick of Lil Abner fame mustache. I haven't been able to find out his name anyplace. I wonder if the "show building was built special, including the arena for the purpose of a wild animal show, or if it was something like an old carousel building with the arena added. It sure is a unique arena/building set up. Wade
