A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Mülhausen?
Does anybody know anything about this zoo, depicted in this postcard from 1900? Was/is it in Germany or France, and is it still in existence?
Bjorn, Thank you. I had seen that link, but if you have it on translate, and try to open the history link, it will not open. I wasn't sure as "Mulhausen", I think is German, and the card is printed both in German and French on the front. Wade
Wade, The french and german text maybe has something to do with fact that Mulhouse is located in the Elzas region wich close to te german and Swiss border.
