A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

The horse pad has an hB on it. Does anyone know what year and what show this is?
I think the HB stands for Harry Belli.By the look of the central cage ,it is his act.

Circus Belli,1965.He presented the act as assistant trainer of Harry Belli.

Rob,
ReplyDeleteI wonder why they used a small "h" and a capitol "B" on the blanket? Or was that the proper way, back in the day?
