A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.
Steve, Her nickname is Charmer, and she is what is known as a "three figure horse." I sometimes just stand and stare at her as she works out in the round pen, forgetting that she is there to get conditioned and muscled up, and I need to see that she is doing it right. She is a beauty. A daughter of the stallion Amir Jammal that I put under saddle 10 years ago and pictured a while back on the blog. I hope to be ridding her soon. Wade
