Mark Pierson

I just found out from my friend, The Curator below, that Mark Pierson, above with the hose, died a few weeks ago. Mark was a super elephant hand that I inherited from Zych, who in turn inherited him from Rex Williams. Mark was many, many years on Circus Vargas with Rex, and had a photographic memory about where everybody's "skeletons" are buried, and saw "things" as only a night watchman can see them, as well as the location of every good truckstop buffet, and decent casino in the United States. A great guy, who's exploits will provide fodder for jackpots for year's to come. Rest easy, friend Markus.

  2. Dave,
I wanted to be there so bad, but had an emergency to attend to with the horses. I am sure Billy, of all folks, would have understood, and I can only assume at the number of folks and the great time it was.

    May Mark rest in peace..
I personally wish I would of listened to more of Marks "Gems" of Wisdom...Not only was Mark a dear Freind and sidekick...but he was also a "Sage" of sorts...

  6. I am sorry to learn of Marks passing. This is the third time in less than a month that I have to learn that a friend from the circus passed away. What an end to the old year. May he rest in peace.
