A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Donnert's elephant act
Look at the elephants feet when she is on the barrel. Think she need's some foot work done?
Hi Wade, Thanks for pointing this out. I had seen this video before, and did not take notice of her feet. How long does it take the toes and "cuticles" to get like that? I appreciate your enlightenment. Were these the same Donnert's that presented a bareback juggling act on Ringling in the late '90's? Chris

So, in other words if a wild elephant would encounter a wild horse in the Asian jungle, they would be natural enemies - interesting....hmmmmm
