Gabby Donnert

Submitted by Laszlo Szigeti Note the excess white on the second from the left Arabians face, also the high white on his back legs, and the belly spot that we talked about prior. Color or "flash" is sought after for a circus horse, and is considered a reject in the breed. Very good well conformed horses, could be bought for almost nothing because of this. The Hungarian Arabians that Florian Richter uses, are very pretty headed horses, but rangy body types.

  1. Gaby's given name is Sandor. His wife is Beverley Roberts, who is cousin to Bobby and Tom (and their sister, Maureen, who would be less than happy if I failed to mention her!).

  2. John,
Thank you for helping us with the various lines and out crosses. While hand painted pedigrees, are beautiful, they are time consuming and more of a labor of love such as Lady Wentworth and Lady Ann Blunts Crabbet papers. But with the advent of the computer it is a relatively easy task to keep breeding records straight. Reference any available stud book and it should give you an idea of how to go about it. LOL

  3. John,
Here would be a good place to start. These I believe are what would be known as "foundation sires/dams, or "desert bred" in the Wentworth Crabbet books.
