A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.
I think that it would be in extremely poor taste this year to have San Francisco Christmas cards with a picture of a tiger on them. (Yes, I understand that this is a lion, and it is from the former zoo at Golden Gate Park.) Mary Ann
Wade, I peered over the top of my glasses and realized that it is a bear! LOL I feel like an idiot. LOL I should just cave and get soft contact lenses with reading glasses for when appropriate. The problem was that the reading glasses didn't work with hard contacts or gas permeable ones, and the soft ones are so icky... Mary Ann
