Wheezy and Zak--Two headed Bearded Lizard

The short story with this photo suggest the man and wife love Wheezy and Zak "like children". Which probably interprets they don't have any. Change that self serving love into a deep respect for animals, and you would have named them Romulous and Remus, or Thor and Conan and not dressed them in party hats.
