A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Monte Carlo Bronze Clown Winner 2007
This is Tom Dieck Jr. He went head to head with only the Casartelli horses, which we have reviewed, and they were Gold.
Strictly speaking this young man is Tom Dieck the third, but virtually everybody forgets about his grandfather. He's known as Tommy. Currently in Germany with Circus Busch-Roland.
Mary Ann, Easy Mary Ann, don't get feline simple on us. We are here to learn and understand. The "horse act" you reference as a joke, go back and look at it. It is the black and white horses, with the streamers over the ring, and Brian Casartelli in the white tails. Look again. Mary Ann, there is a term called,"barn blind", which means all your horse are the best, and everyone elses is bad. Judges can't be "barn blind". Wade

Wade, of course it's unfair, and a sham. The lion act is beautifully trained and presented, and the horse act was a joke.
