A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.
Marek just appeared on Cirkus Charles Knie in Germany, and I do not know anybody who is aware of his background. To clarify matters, Charles Knie is a cousin to Fredy Jr, and sold his show about 3 years ago to live in Australia. the name lives on, and the current owner also presents the Christmas circus in Heilbronn, Germany.
All I know of him is that he is Polish, and that he used to present a camel act from horseback, from Cirkus Olympia, in Sweden-I think. I believe I've also seen pictures of him presenting a tiger act. Try googling his name, and you should at least find some pics of past acts. -Chris
