A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.
I stand to be corrected, as well as being accused of being ungentlemanly, but I believe the lady is a little older than that. These days it is rare that she actually presents the Krone horses, that privilege falling to Jana Mandana, otherwise Mrs. Martin Lacey Jr.
John, This picture was taken the year she turned 70. Jana Mandana, who is the daughter of Urz Pilz, spent a lot of her life around Christel and is often referred to as "daughter" does a very good job with the horses. Wad
