It was the first designed and built by George Ferris. In a larger sense, it wasn't the first pleasure wheel, they dated back many years before it, many examples, Europe, Asia, etc. A guy named Norman Anderson wrote a big book about them and also publishes a periodic newsletter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
