Saw the name Billy Sunday & thought I h...Wade, <br />Saw the name Billy Sunday & thought I had stumbled on the wrong blog. Didn't figure I'd ever read about him here. Thought, "it must be a different Billy". But nope, it isn't. Billy did a series of meetings 100 years ago in Fargo (in what is now the Gate City parking lot). In most placed he preached the bars closed soon after. Fargo was a dry community at the time so it didn't affect our local business. <br /><br />Great read.
