This is probably number one with Director Vierheller. The second male lived for 14 years which was a record at the time (1970s). I remember a famous, at the time, photo of Moby Dick II swallowing baby ducks that their mother took for a dip at the Seal Basin.<br /><br />The other elephant seals pictured in Europe were southern elephant seals, the largest pinnipeds.Jim A.noreply@blogger.com
