Earlier I posted a picture of this behavior at the start, and there was a question if the tiger had a collar on. This is a photo taken seconds after the first one, and you can see that the animal has no collar. Sometimes photos taken a second to soon or a second to late won't give you a full appreciation of what is being done. Josip later trained a tiger to do the jump over, with Josip standing up.
A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.
